We’re all in the midst of the corona virus pandemic and the economic tsunami.
Some people are sick. Some people are out of work. Some businesses are on life support. And everyone has more problems than they had just a few weeks ago.
To further complicate our present situation, most of the kids are at home, out of school, and most people have been self-isolating for weeks.
All of that is a perfect set up for more conflicts.
However, if you’re like most people, you’ve never had any training in how to resolve conflicts. You just wing it, and sometimes your approach works and sometimes it doesn’t.
That’s a dangerous way to live … because effective conflict resolution skills are one of the top … if not the top skill that will determine your success at home and at work.
>>>>>>> THE CRITICAL IMPORTANCE OF CONFLICT SKILLS<<<<<<<
For example, for 20 years Dr. John Gottman has studied what makes a relationship work and what makes it fail. Without a doubt, he says the #1 predictor of a relationship lasting or falling apart are the people’s conflict resolution skills.
Research has also found that workers who experience conflict in their workplace are 70% less productive in their jobs. And witnesses to those conflicts are 40% less productive in their work as well.
Obviously, conflict … unresolved conflict … or poorly managed conflict … can be very expensive.
But effective conflict resolution, a resolution that comes with more respect and less hurt, is amazingly empowering.
>>>>>>> THE PROMISE OF CONFLICT RESOLUTION <<<<<<<
The good news is there are 6 steps that will equip you to handle whatever conflicts you may be facing now or in the future.
And that’s exactly what you will learn in my live webinar, How to Resolve Conflicts with More Respect and Less Hurt, that I will deliver live on May 7, 2020 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

>>>>>>> WHAT YOU'LL LEARN IN THE WEBINAR <<<<<<<
In a nutshell, you’re going to learn THE 6 steps you can and should use in each and every conflict you’re ever going to have. You should use these 6 steps ecause they work. And the good news is you can use them immediately.
Here are the 6 steps, in abbreviated fashion, of course -
- Step #1: A Win-Win Approach. The attitude you bring to your conflict situation can make or break you. So let me show you how to focus more on “what you and the other person can feel good about” instead of just focusing on “what you want for yourself.”
- Step #2: Positive Possibilities. When you’re the recipient of someone else’s criticism or complaints, you need to know how to stay free of defensiveness. The trick is found in squeezing the positive out of the other person’s comments. I’ll show you how to do that.
- Step #3: Empathy. If your empathy skills leave something to be desired, you can be sure you’re going to have more than your fair share of conflicts. And your conflicts will be more difficult to resolve. So I’ll show you how to effectively and appropriately empathize with others … because that will immediately defuse a lot of the negative energy floating around.
- Step #4: Assertive Communication. When you use certain words such as “you … always … and … I never” and a host of other words, the other person is bound to get angrier and more defensive. I’ll show you the exact words and phrases you should NOT use … because they’re likely to blow up in your face. And I’ll show what you can say that is not only respectful and powerful but also self-empowering.
- Step #5: Cooperative Language. Your words are either drawing the other person closer to you or pushing him away … and you may not even know it. You can’t afford to live in such ignorance any longer. Let me show you the words that get the other person to willingly and happily go along with you.
- Step #6: Negotiation. Conflict resolution is not about stomping the other person into the ground or beating her into submission. It’s all about mastering a process that brings you and the other person to a mutually-agreed upon solution. And you will learn that process in this webinar.

>>>>>>> WHAT PAST ATTENDEES HAVE TO SAY <<<<<<<
Kim Gurley, a Deployment Manager at Ernst & Young, says, “I loved Dr. Zimmerman’s conflict resolution presentation. Simple, easy, but powerful and practical.”
Kathy Tenner commented, “I enjoyed your down-to-earth advice. My son will fight forever about ‘who said what’ and ‘who is right,’ and it is always frustrating for me. Now I’m using your approach, remembering 'what matters most is not who is right, but what is right.’"
Chaz Kinnear, a Support Manager for the Charles River Development in the U.K., says, “Another highly interesting and thought-provoking presentation from Dr. Zimmerman. Bravo! I’m already waiting for your next presentation.”
John Schumacher, a branch President at American Federal Bank, writes, “I so appreciated your help on the topic of Empathy. Now I’m much more tuned into what the other person is feeling and have a better understanding of his/her point of view. It was a great hour of training.”
Thea Parada comments, “What I liked about the presentation was how simple the methods were in dealing with conflict. I’ve already used your strategies to help my coworkers open up and get answers to my questions. I really enjoyed this program!”
Jeff Havens, who works at the nation’s largest automobile insurance company, says, “Thank you for providing such an informative session. I learned a lot, and I’m putting your strategies into practice.”
Ron Brooks, a tomato supply chain expert, writes, “The webinar materials were precise, well-organized and filled with good examples that I could use in our meetings. Great set of tools!”
Traci Hindman reports, “Three of the most powerful tips I picked up from this presentation are 1) use the phrase ‘Help me understand,’ 2) be tough on the problem and not the people, and 3) focus on what’s right versus who is right. It works!”
And James Gragg, a Director at the Quincy Medical Group, says, “Once again, I was not disappointed by a Dr. Zimmerman webinar. This conference presented clear, concise information and examples of the old ineffective habits we often use during conflict, but more importantly it gave me new strategies for resolving conflict. I’m convinced your techniques and tactics are the skill set we all need to set the stage for successful conflict resolution.”
If this sounds like something you need to learn, if you need to be a part of my web conference on the 6 Steps To Resolving Any Conflict With Anyone on April 27, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
