21 Speaking Secrets

21 Speaking Secrets that
Helped Me Book 3000 Programs
Kept My Audiences Begging
for More

Dr. Alan Zimmerman, Ph.D.,CSP, CPAE

Program Description:

In 1985, Dr. Zimmerman started his full-time speaking career by booking 167 programs with no video, no brochure, no calling, no bureaus, no website, and no writing.  Since then he has booked more than 3000 full-fee presentations and built a truly extraordinary speaking career, using 5 sets of Speaking Secrets he reveals in this program.

The good news is these secrets apply to everyone … from the beginning speaker to the well-established professional speaker.  You will get Dr. Zimmerman’s simple, practical, low-cost, no-fail secrets that start inside your mind and finish with signed contracts.

There’s nothing fancy or complex in any of these speaking secrets.  But they work.  You’ll learn everything from how you get your mind to work for you (from Dr. Zimmerman’s award-winning Journey-to-the-Extraordinary program) to how you turn a booking into a long-term client.

And to make sure you really “get” this material, Dr. Zimmerman will also actively involve you in several activities throughout his program and give you 40 pages of handouts afterwards.  These handouts will show you exactly how to apply each one of these speaking secrets to your business.

To be more specific, you will learn:

  • How to get your mind to work for you instead of against you,
  • Discover what content sells and doesn’t sell,
  • How to keep your prospects and customers thinking about you,
  • How to work the room to fully engage your audience,
  • How to build lasting and profitable relationships with your meeting planners and audience members,
  • How to get your audience to invite you back, and
  • How to market yourself without being salesy or sleazy.

About the Speaker:

At the age of 7, Alan Zimmerman was selling greeting cards door-to-door.  By age 14, he owned a small international import business.  By age 21, he was teaching at the University of Minnesota, and during the next 15 years, he was selected as the “Outstanding Faculty Member” by two different universities.

At age 36, Dr. Zimmerman retired from teaching and opened his own speaking and training company.  That position has allowed him to deliver more than 3000 keynotes and seminars, in 49 states and 22 countries, maintaining a 92% repeat and referral business.

Dr. Zimmerman is the author of 6 books, more than 1000 articles, and several dozen audio and video programs.  He earned the CSP or Certified Speaking designation from the National Speakers Association and was inducted into the CPAE Speaker Hall of Fame, an honor that has only been given to a handful of people in the last 30 years.

On the personal side, Alan is a husband, a father, a biker and a hiker … who has explored everything from the jungles of Thailand to the icebergs of the Arctic Circle.
