Why Dr. Zimmerman is the Logical Choice if

When your organization’s leaders or team members want better results, when you reach out for help, you will find three types of experts. I call them:
- Descriptive Experts
- Prescriptive Experts
- Transformational Experts
Descriptive Experts tell you what’s going on in the world. One expert might describe the generational differences in the workplace and another may tell you how important it is to have a positive mental attitude. Most people leave a program with a Descriptive Expert saying “I already knew that” or “Fine, but what am I supposed to do about it?”
Has This Happened To You?
Prescriptive Experts go beyond description to give you action steps, but very few of them actually empower you to take those action steps and produce your desired results. Most people leave a program with a Prescriptive Expert with a pad full of rapidly scribbled notes and a huge to-do list, but they never really do anything with what they learned.
Sound familiar?
The problem I just described even has a name for it. It’s called “The Suntan Effect.” Because when you go to the typical Descriptive or Prescriptive event, you get temporarily pumped up and a nice warm feeling … kind of like getting a suntan. But when you go home or back to work, everything fades … just like a suntan does. You don’t receive any lasting or genuine benefit.
Where “The Payoff Principle” Came From…
That’s simply not good enough for me. And it shouldn’t be good enough for you either! Descriptive and Prescriptive approaches just don’t cut the mustard when it comes to producing “off the charts” results. I therefore share with my clients and audiences the only meaningful, lasting, and actionable combination: The Transformational model!
As a Transformational Expert, I describe what’s going on (which is important). I prescribe action steps (which are needed). But I also empower you to take immediate action … so you actually use what you learn … to produce extraordinary results … on a consistent basis.
My Transformational Model is called “The Payoff Principle,” and it’s based on the 3 keys to meaningful payoffs (results): Purpose, Passion, and Process. It’s woven into the very fabric of every keynote and seminar I present.
